GET BEYOND LIMITS

GET INTRODUCED TO A NEW WORLD

DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT

Why does one travel?

A simple Google search reveals several reasons but one thread runs common through all of them- People travel to discover themselves. Being away from the monotonous routine gives people ample opportunity to be at peace with themselves which helps them in understanding themselves better.

Cleaner air and fewer people around clears the mind to give a fresh perspective on one’s life. This is essential for leading a stress-free life.

So do all travelers achieve this?

No.

In order to find the peace to introspect, one needs to disconnect from their mundane lives and reconnect with nature. If you are travelling for work or business, you may not be able to achieve this. Or if you are simply going to a place to sit in luxurious cars and visit all the tourist attractions, you may not experience the difference in yourself.

Only when you disconnect from all that your everyday life entails- all its comforts, parties, socializing, judgments, culture- you are able to enjoy the tranquility of the place you are travelling to. New places not only offer serenity and beauty to soothe the mind but give us an opportunity to learn about different cultures, taste different kinds of cuisines, meet localites leading different lives and gather different experiences if we open ourselves to connect with our surroundings. Seneca had remarked about the same thing centuries ago-“ Travel and change of place impart new vigour to the mind.”

For some, travelling offers life changing experiences. It changes the direction of their lives. We often hear stories of people ready to quit in their life but change their decision after travelling. Some change their jobs or finally gather the courage to do what are passionate about. It gives them the much needed push to take that leap which makes all the difference in their lives. Henry Miller had also expressed similar views that “ One’s destination is never a place, but always a new
way of seeing things.”

Does it ring a bell?

Yes.

Go ahead and book your next trip before you get caught in the rut again!
